Yes, it has its limits, like everything, but it covers just about all the bases at least adequately, even if not outstandingly. Although I also use a Coleman propane stove when car camping, I like a liquid fuel stove for, among other reasons, the fact that I can always easily tell how much fuel is left by opening the tank. More difficult with a propane or other gas canister.
